Our Approach

Partnerships that deliver

Since 1992

Since its foundation in 1992, the College has worked with a wide range of partners on projects addressing specific needs across the human services and non-profit sectors. Our approach is collaborative – we design and adapt programmes alongside the organisations we work with, rather than delivering off-the-shelf training.

That work spans customised training developed from our existing diplomas, joint projects with health service organisations, and long-running collaborations with non-profit bodies. Examples include the SKILL Project supporting some 28,500 health and personal social services staff, our cross-border Supported Employment training partnership with NIUSE and IASE, and ongoing collaborations with St Michael’s House and the Irish Association of Supported Employment.

The result is a community of practice: organisations that return to the College year after year for accredited programmes, CPD, consultancy and bespoke workforce development support.
