Apply Online

Our application process is straightforward and designed to support you at every stage. Read through the four steps below, prepare your documents, and start your application when you’re ready.

The Application Process

A clear, four-step journey

This guide will walk you through the application process, highlight the documents you’ll need, and explain what happens after you submit. The application process is made up of four steps.

01

Confirm

Make sure you meet the course entry requirements.

Eligibility criteria differ for each course. Review the requirements for the course you’re interested in, or contact us if you’d like to discuss your eligibility.

02

Prepare

Prepare your application documents.

You will need a form confirming your work or volunteer role in the sector (not required for the BA in Social Care), photo ID (passport or driver’s licence), and educational transcripts where relevant.

03

Submit

Submit your application using our online system.

The online application form is organised into 8 short sections and only takes a few minutes to begin. You can return at any time to add documents or amend details before the closing date.

04

Discuss

Meet with us to discuss if the course is right for you.

For courses of 9 months or longer, you’ll be invited to an information session and a one-to-one meeting with college staff so we can confirm the course is the right fit for your goals.

Step 1 — Confirm You Are Eligible

The eligibility criteria for each course are different. Review the course you intend to apply for, or call us on (+353 1) 298 8544 if you have any questions about your eligibility.

Management

Step 2 — Prepare Your Application

You will need to submit a number of documents as part of your application:

Note: Some courses may require additional documentation. These are clearly identified in the course descriptors. You do not need all documents ready before you begin — you can pay the application fee to register your interest and add the remaining documents later.

Step 3 — Submit Your Application

Personal Statement

Your personal statement helps us understand why you want to take the course. We provide a Word document with four short prompts:

  • Tell us a little about yourself
  • Where are you currently working or volunteering?
  • What do you hope to achieve in your career in the future?
  • Why do you want to take the course and how will it help you achieve your goals?

Replies should be short — your personal statement should be around 300 words.

Paying Your Application Fee

The application fee of €110 is only relevant to the longer (9 months or more) courses.

Once payment is received, you’ll receive an email with a username and password for your application management account, which you can use to:

  • Add additional information (transcripts, forms)
  • Monitor the progress of your application
  • Pay fees if you are offered a place
